HAVE TALENT? is a COMMUNITY TALENT COMPETITION open to any student 3rd-12th grade living and being being schooled in the Acadiana area

Feb. 29-March 22 UPLOAD AUDITIONS

• SUBMIT the best 60 seconds of your act to www.wetransfer.com Chorale can help with this!!

• SUBMIT audition fee through PayPal

  • • $15 for 1-3 performers in a group 

    • $25 for 4 or more performers in a group

    • Each submission must include payment in order to be judged.  Payment/submissions received after 5 PM on March 21st will not be accepted

    • Multiple submissions are allowed with payment

Judges will only evaluate the FIRST 60 seconds submitted

Notification will be on Sunday, March 22nd at 5PM

 

ROUND 1: THURSDAY APRIL 2nd 6:30 PM

Rock N Bowl Ballroom, Jefferson Street

• Performers who make it to Round 2 will perform the BEST 90 seconds of their act. 

• If an accompaniment track will be used, it must be edited to 90 seconds and emailed no later than Saturday, March 28th to choraledesamis@gmail.com

Audience will select 2 of 5  finalists for each division by secret ballot

ROUND 2 (FINALS) THURSDAY APRIL 30th 6:30 PM

Rock N Bowl Ballroom, Jefferson Street

If an accompaniment track will be used, it must be emailed no later than Saturday, April 25th to choraledesamis@gmail.com

Audience vote for winners in each division, by secret ballot will count 75%

 

  

GUIDELINES

• Talent may include singing, dancing, comedy, beatboxing, mime, sign language acts, juggling, a capella ensembles, etc BE CREATIVE!

• THERE CAN BE NO VULGAR, INAPPROPRIATE OR DISCRIMINATORY CONTENT DISPLAYED OR USED IN ACTS

• The performer is responsible for emailing accompaniment tracks, supplying any band equipment/instrumentation and props and keeping up with it.  Chorale des Amis assumes no liability for any damage or missing belongings

• The final 2 rounds must be different selections.  However, you may repeat your Audition selection (Round 1) for either of the other rounds 

• Performers may not change TYPE of talent. A dancer can not dance in one round and sing in another

• All acts must be able to be performed safely; no acts using knives, darts or any other sharp or dangerous objects, nor fire are allowed

• There are no refunds on audition fees or tickets

Elementary:

1st Place         $50 gift card to Surge

2nd Place        $25 gift card to Surge

3rd Place         $15 gift card to Surge

 

Middle School:

1st Place         $ 200

2nd Place        $ 100

3rd Place           $ 50

 

High School:

1st Place         $300

2nd Place        $200

3rd Place         $100

 

TICKETS for the show: $10 per night or $17 for both Rounds
